Ashville charges its $10,000 registration bond per trade, and Fire Suppression Commercial is its own trade. A contractor who also registers for plumbing or general building files a separate bond and fee for each one. Getting the bond on the Village's Registration Bond form, with seal and power of attorney attached, keeps the annual registration from bouncing back.
The Village of Ashville, Ohio requires contractors and subcontractors to register annually before working in the village, and each registered trade, including Fire Suppression Commercial, carries a $10,000 registration bond under Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances. Registrations expire December 31 each year and the fee is $75 per trade. The bond runs to the Village of Ashville and guarantees the contractor follows village building ordinances and lawful orders.
